Serving Southwest Boise
Southwest Boise, 83709: The City's Biggest ZIP, Out Toward Kuna
83709 is southwest Boise, and the 2020 Census counted more people in it than in any other Boise ZIP, close to sixty thousand. It runs from Overland Road south past Lake Hazel and Amity toward Kuna, across subdivisions like Charter Pointe and Rockhampton, with Borah Park and the Indian Lakes golf course inside its lines.
What is the back way from southwest Boise?
Highway 69, the road between Kuna and Meridian. From the south end of the ZIP it saves crossing the whole city to a freeway ramp: take it north to I-84 at Meridian, then west through Nampa and Caldwell to the Oregon line.
From the Overland Road end, the Cole Road interchange is closer. Both routes end at the same exit in Ontario.
Where is the closest open country to 83709?
South, past Kuna, on the Swan Falls road. It crosses the desert and drops into the Snake River canyon at the dam, through the Birds of Prey conservation area. South of Kuna, the land has its own posted rules, and the canyon road is narrow. A dual-sport bike or a street-legal side-by-side makes the most of it.
What sells to households this far out?
A lot of youth machines. A Kayo pit bike, a Honda CRF50 or a Polaris Outlaw is where most families here start, and a parent wants to see the sizes next to each other before buying one.
We keep youth models from several makes on one floor. Bring the rider, since the right fit shows in ten minutes on a seat and not on a spec sheet.
About an hour west on I-84, with Kuna and Highway 69 as the back way out.
