The 2025 KX250 is Kawasaki's 250-class motocrosser for riders who race or train on motocross tracks. A 249cc DOHC single with 14.0:1 compression breathes through a 44mm Keihin throttle body fed by dual injectors, one handling low rpm response and the other feeding top-end power. The 5-speed gearbox uses hydraulic clutch actuation. Rider aids include Power Modes, Kawasaki TRaction Control (KTRC) and Launch Control Mode, which retards timing in the first two gears for cleaner gate starts. Suspension is a 49mm Showa inverted coil-spring fork with 12.0 inches of travel and a Uni-Trak rear with 12.1 inches. The aluminum perimeter frame sets a 37.6 inch seat height, and the bike pairs with RIDEOLOGY THE APP KX on your smartphone.
